Long passionate about coffee and nature, founders Josh and Rosie started Live Coffee to source speciality beans grown using traditional agroforestry methods.

Coffee grows best in the shade, under the natural tree canopy of the wild forests. In this environment, coffee ripens slowly, developing deeper flavours, and the protected soils help pack the crop with nutrients. In the shade it's better protected from the sun, and the surrounding wildlife supports a balanced ecosystem. Biodiversity thrives!

Our growers know this, and have long practiced this traditional approach. Their livelihoods should be protected and rewarded for their services to nature. That is why Live Coffee is working to establish long term partnerships that they can depend on.
